“On strong feelings”,
I’ve listened to Erykah Badu’s song “Next Lifetime” recently and I am now. It’s gotten stuck in my head; now I have strong feelings and don’t know what to do with them. Feelings of mortality, mostly—that my mother will die and I’ll soon after. I can’t distill them, can’t get rid of them. ♦
