“On religion”,

They say: This life’s important, so follow God. I say: That’s bull, and manipulation. But then again, they might not realise they’re doing it, and then again, they might have serious conviction, and then again, they might actually want to help you.

Take Mormons for example—they’re bred to do this, literally. I was walking down the street with my mother one time by the library and they were there, as usual. But they only approached me, and not my mother, even though she was older and she was walking in front of me. Mainly because my mother has dark skin and I have tannish skin. They might not promote the language anymore but they genuinely believed for a long while that dark skin was the mark of Cain, given to the Lamanites for...I can’t even remember. The Book of Mormon’s essentially anaesthesia in print, as Mark Twain said. Or maybe he said it was chloroform. I think it was chloroform, but I forgot.

Chloroform’s been illegal for a long while, from what I can remember. A lot of films used to show some bad guy dousing a rag in chloroform, holding it to the victims face, and making them collapse, unconscious. Well I say that’s obviously false. Not even from a medical standpoint. Just use common sense: If it was that dangerous, the government would hide it and we wouldn’t know about it, or they wouldn’t let us buy it. ♦
