If you reach for it you won’t get it. You’ll probably get an imitation, you know, that kind of faux inspirational note or something vague or vain written like Romantic pastiche. Profundity’s essentially “Huh, I can relate to that” or “Huh, that’s true actually” on a massive scale. Nobody thinks that if you write like it’s 1857. ♦
