controversy
controversy, my eleventh chapbook, was written on 2026 January 23; it is 13 pages long, excluding the front cover. I wrote most of it while having a conversation with Claude (Anthropic), and eventually decided to finish and compile it into one chapbook.
My main goal was to satirise the 24-hour news cycle and how it manufactures outrage through provocative headlines and selective reporting; this is why most of the poems are tautological in nature, i.e. the titles make claims that sound outrageous but are technically logical or justified by the poemtext. However, because of its high potential to be misinterpreted and reflect poorly on me as a writer and person, I have not yet posted it here.
